Synopsis
Clown art is about to unleash mayhem on the unsuspecting citizens of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve
Director Damien Leon said several major studios expressed interest in financing the film based on the surprise success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he’s convinced they’ll never let him shoot the opening scene alone , which he describes as “very controversial”. Leone commented that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his depiction of horror and gore is that he finances his own films, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and doesn’t have a major studio breathing in to make the film. more mainstream.. Mia mentions that the 5 year anniversary of the original massacre was coming up, but that was on Halloween and this movie taking place at Christmas 5 years later would mean that the anniversary had just passed 2 months ago.

Artwork written by Drew Fulka, Joe Occhiuti, Paul Wiley, Spencer Charnas and Steve Sopchak Performed by Ice Nine Kills and Shavo Odajian. Too long, too disjointed and more like a collection of random ideas strung together with duct tape.

Of course, practical blood effects are o.k. It’s a hot mess. The plot is non-existent, Sienna Shaw’s messianic arc feels forced, and the continuity has become shocking. Leone seems to be trying to ride the wave of franchise success, throwing every half-baked idea at the screen in the hope that something will stick.

Unfortunately, the only thing that sticks is the blood. The art provides another night to share, but as far as a coherent story? It’s not horror, it’s a lazy bloodbath that believes shock value is a substitute for storytelling. Clown art, Penny and Killer Klowns are just a few of the comical creatures that give us chills.
